The Sacredness of Showing Up

I Had a massive realization today…

I show up in so many different ways.
So many versions of myself come online when the moment calls.

I choose.

  • Always a mother

  • Sometimes an earth momma

  • Sometimes a cowgirl

  • Sometimes a healer

  • Sometimes a business owner

  • Sometimes fucking fierce

  • Sometimes soft and gentle

I can be it all.
And I get to choose how and when I show up.

I don’t have to hide who I am.
But I also don’t need everyone to know all aspects of my being at once.

There is sacredness in the choice.
In deciding whether to reveal the dualities of your being.
There is sacredness in the mystery.

Releasing the Fear

I used to be afraid of judgment—
Afraid of how I “should” show up.

The what if’s haunted me:

  • What if those closest to me judged me?

  • What if people feared my gifts?

  • What if no one understood my dualities?

It’s the old song and dance.
The one that makes you feel like you’re drowning in a raging river.
You finally get your head above water…
And then another what if pulls you under.

A New Way to Ask “What If”

But what about these what if’s

  • What if you die before you show the most sacred parts of yourself, because you were scared of judgment?

  • What if your dreams never come true because you thought people would turn their back on you if you “changed”?

  • What if you had everything you needed to move forward… but you turned back too soon?

Choosing Freedom

There is another side.

  • What if you can be all parts of yourself?

  • What if you choose when and where to bring in the duality of who you are?

  • What if you drop the fear and use healthy discernment for who, when, and where you reveal your sacred self?

You don’t need to be everything all at once.
You get to show up in your beautiful ways when you feel called.

You are free to be exactly who you are in exactly the right moments.

There is a sacredness in the mystery of you.
In all the different aspects that make you whole.
